Matthew Catholic School is seeking a 4th/5th Grade Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching reading, ESL, science, math, social studies and religion as well as maintaining a safe and faith-based classroom environment.
Maintain a safe and faith-filled classroom Organize and prepare curriculum for students Incorporate technology to effectively create 21st century learning environments within the classroom Lead daily prayer and participate in school liturgies Supervise and assist students as needed Communicate professionally and in a timely manner with parents Evaluate and grade student work Collaborate with other staff members and principal in the planning and development of curriculum Participate in all school functions, including fundraisers Supervise students during lunch, recess duty and end of day as assigned
Qualifications:
Current teaching license Practicing Catholic Bachelor's Degree in Education Completion of background check and Safe Environment training prior to employment Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required Strong communication, writing and organizational skills Proficient in Google Suite and technology in general Job Type:
